A Girl Named PJ

Weekend reading: link roundup

September 4, 2015

Weekend reading: A roundup of 10 favorite links on A Girl Named PJ

This weekend’s link roundup includes a few fall essentials (on sale!), Instagram advice, day trip ideas, a couple of exclusive discounts, and more.

Surprise! The future of digital reading is not on the e-reader. But now I’m curious: How do you prefer to read?

Are you guilty of any of these Instagram faux pas? (Raises hand.)

Is it too soon to start thinking about scarves? (Answer: No! Not when you can get 30% off this weekend.)

Love this father-and-son photo series of food puns. My favorite is a four-way tie between New Jerky, Kaleifornia, Swissconsin, and Pretzelvania.

Ever have a day when it feels like everything you do sucks? Yeah, me too.

For my local readers: 27 places to visit near Washington, DC.

One of my favorite online voices (and soon-to-be-published author!) has a beautiful new blog that is just so her.

They probably won’t fit my big, narrow feet, but I’m dying to try on these booties.

I just signed up for Rocksbox, which is like Netflix for designer jewelry, and I’m eagerly awaiting my first package! If you want to try it free for one month, use my exclusive code: pjfeinsteinxoxo.

Want to meet me in Portland next month? There are still a few tickets left for The Hello Sessions, and if you act now, you can snag one at 10% off with the code LAST CHANCE. You guys have no idea how excited I am to be heading west in October!

Catch up on past roundups here and see more of my Instagram photos here.

I now read on my phone a lot since the tablet is tougher with one hand. I’m looking forward to them making that experience better!

I read almost exclusively on my iPhone when I was nursing both boys. Not only could I hold it in one hand, but I was already using it to time the feedings on an app. Now I’m using a Kindle in bed because it doesn’t glow as brightly as my iPhone.
