Great links – as always! For me, J. Crew (which I’ve been shopping since THE 80″S AHEM) has just gotten too “fancy”. Or maybe my lifestyle has changed. I still buy pieces but my wardrobe is WAY more Madewell these days for sure.

I remember ordering from the catalog back in the mid-90s. Roll-neck sweaters! Flannel shirts! Chunky oxford shoes! J.Crew has definitely gotten away from its pretty roots; not everybody wants to dress exactly like Jenna Lyons.
