Blame it on perfectionism.
If you remember, I shared my first-ever wallpaper download last month: a pair of hand-drawn eyes. The design was meant to be symbolic. I actually created it as a reminder to keep your eyes on your own work and not compare your successes and failures to others.
I was happy at first with the wallpaper’s minimalist appearance. But as I’d been using it on my own phone and desktop these past few weeks, it started to feel a little too . . . plain. Incomplete, somehow.
So I went back to my original design and added pale pink color blocking on the diagonal. That one extra detail immediately changed the look of the whole wallpaper — for the better, I think.
If you weren’t completely sold on the original version of my hand drawn wallpaper download, I’d love for you to try out version 2.0 on your iPhone or desktop. The links to download them are at the bottom of the post. And please let me know what you think!
