What I bought at IKEA

August 7, 2012

Since several of you asked, I thought I’d share some of my IKEA purchases. I challenged myself to create a collage in Photoshop. Yikes! I wonder how much faster an actual graphic designer could put something like this together…

clockwise: plant pots // fake plant // more fake plants // plant pot // colorful frames // colorful straws // storage boxes // corkscrew // set of 3 containers // step stool // basement storage // living room storage // pillow // pillow

Nice collage! I’ve always wondered how fashion bloggers create these. You did a great job!

Do you like the fake plants? Where did you put them? I’ve always thought about buying some but wasnt sure if I’d end up liking them. I do tend to kill plants, though, so I may have to try it out.

Thanks! I’ve never actually bought artificial plants before; they were kind of an impulse purchase. I also have a brown thumb but like the idea of a pop of green in a room. Still not sure where to put them… I’d like them to be visible but not front and center where it would be obvious that they are fake!

I love the collage! Looks great and so do your purchases. Too bad it takes 6 hours to get there each way!
