Yes, this Wednesday series is being posted on Thursday this week. Oops!
So Levi has been working hard on his crawl in New Jersey these past couple of days. With the encouragement of his extended family, he’s been trying to improve his form, practicing getting up on all fours rather than inch worming, swimming and rolling across the floor. After all, as a nine month old (omg, my baby is 9 months old today!), it’s time he starts cruising a bit more gracefully!
Side note: Does anybody want to music direct my home movies? Seriously, I feel like I’m so bad at picking the soundtracks to these short little videos!
Meanwhile, a huge thank you to everyone who has taken the time to answer my quick blog survey. If you haven’t done so yet, I encourage you to take this anonymous 10-question survey. The results will help me improve my blog content as I work on redesigning Bunny & Dolly. I’m so excited!

It’s all over for you now, Mom. Once he starts movin’ on, he’ll never stop 🙂 This clip was especially adorable with the music, and I love how proud Levi is of himself. And how cognizant he is that the camera is rolling, and he’s the star.
@sherib0bbins
That’s so funny because I was thinking immediately how you picked a great song for the video (I just love that song) .. but I thought such a happy moment needed that happy beat.
Anyway the video is too cute, I watched it with a smile – my little one is still in rolling/scooting phase so I’m just awaiting this moment 🙂

Thanks so much! I’m happy with my final music choice, but I think it took longer to pick the soundtrack than it did to actually edit the video 😉
courtney @ larking.
Before you know it, you’re going to be chasing him around the house and wishing he would just stay still for a few seconds! 🙂

I’ve gotta baby-proof the house…STAT!

We still haven’t babyproofed anything! Lu is tummy crawling everywhere and is just starting to thinking about getting up on her knees. Levi is adorable in the video clips. What is with babies and remotes? Crazy.

I wish I could be there to watch this piece of development, but I got to see the official “first crawl” 😉
Please, please, please stop moving the target back from him. Let him reach his goal and then give him a new goal, but don’t make him think that it has to be too hard to get what he wants…
