I’m obsessing over how Vogue’s Sylvana Ward Durrett manages to look so chic at nine months pregnant! I wish I had felt comfortable enough to wear form-fitting dresses and tops when I was pregnant with Levi, but I was very self conscious of my big ol’ baby bump. I tried on a couple of body skimming frocks during my second and third trimesters, but I didn’t have the courage to step out of the dressing rooms in them. It wasn’t that I necessarily felt ugly or fat while I was pregnant (remember, I didn’t even know how much weight I was gaining); it was that my body didn’t feel like my body anymore. I didn’t recognize my reflection in the mirror.
I also admire Erin’s pregnancy style and her willingness to talk openly about her pregnancy weight gain. I think she looks amazing!
