How do you feel about personalized jewelry? I’ve been a fan of alphabet necklaces ever since I spied Tina Fey’s character, Liz Lemon, wearing two “L” charms on “30 Rock.” I was immediately drawn to their simple sentimentality.
Liz Lemon’s double L’s by Helen Ficalora were 14k gold. This gold-plated Kate Spade initial charm necklace is more affordable but just as lovely (the price includes the chain). Embossed with the initials of your child or partner, wouldn’t it make a meaningful Valentine’s Day gift or push present?
PS - If money were no object, I’d wish for Cupid to bring me this Jennifer Meyer diamond letter necklace.

I love personalized jewelry, and I like keeping it simple too. It kills me when I see girls with those crazy-huge monogram necklaces. They just look tacky and too thought out.

One of my students gave me an initial charm bracelet in gold at the end of the school year. Such an awesome gift. The chain is supposed to wrap around your arm twice, which made it long enough for me to wear around my neck. I have a Tiffany letter necklace too, but I like the charm one even better.
I was given the Helen Ficalora initial (my own initial) as a bridesmaid gift and then as a push present when I had my second son my husband gave me my children’s initials to add to the chain. The ones he got me were from South Moon Under! I love it because I can wear it every day.
I love this, although I’m not crazy about the chain. Definitely appreciate the simplicity of the charm though.

Absolutely a perfect gift for Valentines Day! Would love this for me and my husband. Now if only he can piece together those subtle messages I’ve been sending him.
