Help! I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!
This was my view yesterday afternoon after I tweaked my back trying to stand up with Asa in my arms. Thankfully, my dad was home and able to grab the baby as I crumpled to the living room floor, where I lay for most of the evening.*
Ouch.
My back already ached from all of the stress-induced muscle knots. If this new lower back pain doesn’t start to feel better in a few days, I may need to consider making an appointment with a chiropractor…or a masseuse or acupuncturist. Or all three.
Have you ever tried acupuncture? I haven’t, but I’m equally frightened and fascinated by it.
I have two meetings in New York City today, so I’ll be taking a hot shower and popping a pain pill before catching a train. Assuming my back doesn’t get the best of me, I’m attempting my first Ballet Beautiful class this afternoon! I’d love it if you’d come along with me via Instagram.

Thank you! It’s amazing how much a hot shower helped the next day.

I am absolutely addicted to acupuncture. Honestly, if it wasn’t happening to me, I wouldn’t believe it, but it changed my life. My knees are so much better, I sleep better, I feel more relaxed… it’s incredible. I go every two weeks and have been for a year now. It’s incredible.
Hit me up next time you’re in the city! Would love to say a quick hello!

Really?! Wow, that’s quite a testimonial. I’m so curious about it — not just the physical benefits of acupuncture, but the mental benefits, too. Your insurance doesn’t cover your treatments, does it? Is acupuncture expensive?
