How many times a week do you (or did you) read “Goodnight Moon” to your little one? Levi must hear Margaret Wise Brown’s story at least a dozen times every week. I actually think he may have it memorized because he seems to know exactly when to turn the pages!
If “Goodnight Moon” isn’t the most read book in your child’s personal library, what is?

Does he know where the mouse is on every page? We went through a 2x/night phase, but we’re back to one now. (Same goes for Going to Bed Book, It’s Time to Sleep My Love, Brown Bear Brown Bear…, and The Best Mouse Cookie.)
Our new multiple “read” is a Disney’s Best Friends Look & Find book that was a gift. It’s sturdy and he loves the challenges I give him to find the little creatures in the pages. It’s so cool to see him identify specific things!

I don’t think he’s able to identify the mouse, per say, but he seems to be drawn to whatever is round on each page–including the mouse in the circle–and will run his pointer finger over certain images.

Goodnight Moon had a cameo on Mad Men last week! Pete Campbell read it to his daugher (she looked about Levi’s age) in 1967. Then, in typical Pete fashion, he ruined it by being his usual skeezy self. Meanwhile, while Tom and I were on vacation, we saw a very disturbing episode of Diego (or Dora the Explorer featuring Diego — I don’t know these things). Will Levi be watching this show once he’s old enough?

At first glance, I thought you were asking if Levi will be watching Mad Men when he’s older!
