It’s no secret that I have a soft spot for Blabla. The children’s apparel, decor, and toy company has been featured on the blog multiple times over the past three years.
I was charmed by the brand’s hand knit dolls during my first pregnancy and couldn’t resist purchasing the tie-wearing Socks the Fox before Levi was even born. (No wonder I was drawn to Socks: He writes for a local newspaper and has beautiful handwriting!)
Later, Levi and Socks sat together in our white Eames rocker for all of Levi’s monthly photos. Posing Levi next to his Blabla doll was a way to illustrate how much Levi was growing from month to month that first year. Plus, it made for some really adorable outtakes!
I’m planning on taking monthly photos with our second baby, although I might choose a different chair and location. I’d also like the baby to have his or her own Blabla doll to sit next to (and occasionally chew). But how do I narrow down my choices?
One reason I picked Socks for Levi was because the orange doll coordinated with his pale blue, orange, and white nursery. Which knitted doll will match the new baby’s room? Hmm…
I also have my eye on some of Blabla’s new products, including crib sheets and coverlets, play pads, and toy bins. I’m really drawn to the brand’s simple, playful style.

Mr. X is the funniest, I really want the keychain. Pierre the bunny is sure to become a family favorite. We have one daughter that we call our bunny rabbit and she loves to accessorize with bags and such.
