At our friends’ house last Friday evening, perhaps inspired by their infant son’s mobility, Levi decided to tackle the two small stairs connecting the den to the foyer. Before my eyes he was climbing up–and then crawling back down head first!
JB was playing video games in the basement with some of the other fathers, so I ran downstairs to share with him his son’s latest achievement. Our brief conversation went something like this:
“Did he stand up when he made it to the top of the stairs?”
“No.”
“Well, come get me when that happens.”
And then he turned his attention back to Mario Kart. Really!
